Radiators & Pipework

The radiators and pipework are just as important parts of your central heating system as your boiler. It's important to keep them maintained so they are working efficiently as possible. A typical heating system should last you around 15-20 years. Gair Home Services will check your radiators during your annual boiler service, making sure your system is balanced and advising you if sludge is present. We recommend inhibitor be added to your system every 5 years to help stop corrosion in your radiators, this can be done at the same time as a boiler service.

Magna Clean filter

A Magna Clean filter is a great way to ensure debris has less chance of entering the boiler. This filter is self-maintaining and does not require any replacement parts. The Magna Clean is cleaned as part of your annual boiler service.

A Magna Clean is usually fitted at the same time as a boiler installation but can be fitted independently.
